Vw has been in my family since 1956 when we purchased a vw beetle off the showroom floor, we never looked back from that day onwards, we bought and sold many vw since than and we still currently own 2 1978 vw sp beetle purchased brand new, 2 vw golfs, 1 vw caddy, 1 vw caravelle, and 6 audis. if vw sa wants to review all that im more than happy to send them papers of those cars. my 1999 vw caravelle recently broke a window machanism and electric window motor, no vw in sa or germany can help me with this parts, infact they cant help me with alot of this cars parts, the car being 13 yrz old and not having parts for it just beats me, unfortunetly not every1 has the means to renew there car every 5years also some of us become attached to worldy things like our cars.look at there oppositions merc and bmw, phone bmw for a 1980 part and see how fast you will get it over the counter. phone mercedes benz and ask for a 1930 part and if they say they dont have the part get hold of merc in germany and see how fast you get your part (thats customer service) why do they jump for thre customers like that because they dont want to lose them, i have come to a conclusion, replace vw and audi
