Simon Johnstone from STK Performance Cams in Port Elizabeth really doesn't know how to talk to his customers. i just got off the phone with him and took a lot of verbal abuse from him... He simply does not understand that the part is not working in my car and we tried anything and everything to get it to work.!!! The main problem was that the cam was cut to thick and that caused the valves to not close properly. Needless to say the valves burned, causing over R2500 in damages to my engine. After installing the cam I had problems with idling, loss of power and increased fuel usage. I called him and asked for advise regarding the issues and he told me that it is caused by a timing issue and I need to install a vernier pulley. I bought one and installed it, made no difference at all. Now all of a sudden, it is my fault that the engine got damaged, according to Simon it's because I drove the car while there was something wrong with it. I would never recommend anyone to buy any product from STK. IT WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR ENGINE!!! Now I am being told that if the product is faulty I should take it up with Autostyle since they sold it to me. STK is and will remain responsible!!
