From time to time it does happen that we get damage to our caravans while under supervision of our customers. The conditions under which the caravans are handed over to you is clearly stipulated in our contract which is required to be signed by all our customers before collection of the goods. When handing the caravan over to customers, we also take more than half an hour to go through the caravan to make sure everything is in order and give the customer the opportunity to indicate any damage to us to enable us to record such damage. Opportunity also exists for any questions that may arise.
Tyre damage is not covered by any insurance, unless explicitly paid for at a tyre retailer for certain tyres. Pictures of the damaged tyre has been emailed to you and we are awaiting your response.
As for the damage to the window, we will again try and resolve with the insurer to see if we can get a solution to the issue. For the record, the window damage was not caused by the window arm / strut. These arms are solely resposible for keeping the window open. The resolution of the claim will be handled according to our Terms and Conditions as agreed per the contract.
