On 1 January 2014 i was making my way from Jefferies to St francis bay in my ford ranger. We stopped at the shell in jefferies bay at around 21:00 to fill up with R200 Diesel as the range on the vechile was on 23KM. The petrol attendant had a pum in our car but i think he was actually pumping the fuel from the correct pump into a Jerry can on the other side of the car as our range did not increase by even a km. The following day we went to the Caltex up the road and filled the same amoutn of petrol and while the petrol was still being pumped the range had already increased. Unfortunately we left for Gauteng the next day and were not able to go back to the service statiion.
