On the 3/07/2013 I decided to go fill up at a Shell Service station in Honeydew. Personally, i use to prefer Shell over and above other service stations because their fuel is efficient and the service is generally good. However; on this particular day, i received the most disgusting service EVER!!!
I drive in and park my car on the right hand side of the petrol tank, this means my car's petrol tank was on the right hand side too. I drive forward a bit to allow for enough room for the attendant to pull the RUBBER pump behind my car to reach my tank easily. This approaches me and tells me i need to move my car to the other side of the petrol tank. I ask him why i need to do this, to which he responds "Management told them to request their customers to do this as they will be liable if they scratch the customer's car"... really??? I then ask him how that logic came to be because the pump is made of rubber...??? This walks away without saying a word and proceeds to assist the car parked next to me.
I have since convinced ALL my friends, colleagues and anyone willing to listen to my story to never ever use Shell again.
