Having been burned by my last motor vehicle, I decided to buy a scooter from Motomia as I liked the styling, price and was given the necessary assurance that the product was RELIABLE. I bought a Java 170cc back in June/July 2013 and I have had problems with it ever since. Almost within a month the gasket went.By rights they should have replaced the scooter then and there, but they refused and insisted it be repaired, which took 3 days. The following month the drive belt broke in afternoon rush hour traffic as I was going home. In October the starter decided to pack it in, that happened 3-4 times. In November the battery died... twice within a week! Come December the carburetor also gave problems. Now in January the starter again is not working. The kick-start has NEVER worked! I've been very accommodating and patient allowing them to repair it, all the time I've been inconvenienced and left stranded on the side of the road and sometimes late at night. The repairs have also at times taken more than a day to sort. All this time I've had to walk, or catch taxis... I've now insisted on a loan scooter as I await the repairing of my own YET AGAIN!! Its taking a week so far to sort out...
