Volkswagen
Oil leaking 2012 Amarok TDI Highline 132kw

I bought an Amarok TDI Highline 132kw in Septermber 2012, against better advice about people who were experiencing problems with theirs. In November 2012, with about 5000km covered I noticed oil spills in the parking area of the complex where I live, I ignored these spills as i thought they could not possible be coming from my R400000.00 car, but the other cheap cars parking there. When oil spills seemed to appear whenever I parked the car, In December I took it to NTT VW Dealership in East London. They confirmed the car was leaking oil and promised to fix it soon. At the same tme the suspension started becoming noisy as well.
A service was booked for 07 January 2013, they promised me that they have fixed the noise in the suspension, and that they are waiting for parts for the oil leak. They advise me to keep topping up the car in the meantime. The rear suspension started making noise again and the oil spills are putting me in trouble with our body corporate and are a big source of embarassment to me, whilst VW seems to careless. I am now holding on for the first opportunity to get rid of the car, NTT VW told me that I would have to pay R80000 for them to take the car as trade-in
