Car broken into at Hyundai and they want me to pay

My i20 has been stationed at Hyundai Edenvale for repairs and was soon to be completed. On the 13/12/2013 I got a call from Hyundai informing that the car was broken into. On 17/12/2013 I went to inspect the car and found that i was dirty inside with leaves. The steering wheel was damaged from the alleged, what was surprising was that the car window was not broken. Which led me to believe that the car was not locked as it was stored!! This morning I received a call from Hyundai stating that the security company is not going to pay for the damages and they too are not going to do so. I think this is utter nonsense as the car was left with them and seemingly not locked as it was stored on their premises. NOW THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES... WHAT FOR!!! SURELY HYUNDAI HAS INSURANCE AGAINST SUCH!!

I am highly disappointed at the treatment that Hyundai Edenvale is giving me, i bought my car brand new with them and this is the thanks i get. As soon as this matter is resolved I shall surely disassociate myself from this brand... this is certainly what i did not expect from such a BRAND!!!
