Ever since I took delivery of my car 19/10/2013, I have had multiple problems/complaints with it. Alpine VW have managed to resolve some of the issues except the paintwork and gearlever. Paintwork has been polished 4 times by Alpine in an attempt to remove surface scratches and have failed. It just got worse. I have raised a complaint with VWSA on 11/11/2013 regarding this and they have contacted Alpine VW with no positive feedback. The 2nd gear moves (slight kick on the lever) when the brake or accelerator is depressed. Alpine says this is normal. I am not comfortable with this as it didn't' happen on the one I initially test drove. I have taken the car to 2 VW approved body-shops and they have identified the defects, suggesting re-spraying the car which I cannot accept. I paid for a brand new car and cannot accept anything less. I have sent e-mails to Alpine's Sales Executive, Sales manager and Dealer Principle, to which I have had no response or even acknowledging receipt of my mail. I was promised feedback from VWSA by C.O.B yesterday - still nothing!
