A parcel was sent to me from China with TNT on the 16/11 and arrived in SA on 17/11. I requested that the parcel be cleared ASAP as it was very urgent. They did clear it almost immediately thanks to David and we paid the duties on 18/11. That is where the effort stopped unfortunately as the parcel has still not arrived at our premises. TNT are no blaming a 3rd party courier for lack of service. I paid TNT for the service not the 3rd party. I cannot believe it takes 2 days from china to JHB and 1 day in customs and then 4 days to be delivered within JHB area, i could have flown to China and back with the goods faster. I think David and Tertia are the only 2 TNT employees that are worth anything. The fact that we lost a big sale because of this problem means absolutely nothing to TNT as apparently they cannot be held accountable for their incompetence.
