Took my vehicle to the Gearbox and Drivetrain Specialist in Craig road Boksburg for gearbox repair on the 23 rd of May 2013. Norman Tailor the owner said to me it will take 3 days to fix the problem, but this has became 3 months and counting! He was paid the full amount (R19000) on day 5 after he told the mechanical insurance company Impac that the car was fixed and ready for collection they just need to wash it and I can collect it? One of many promises that never materialised? On top of his empty promises he used my car for 500 km in 4 days, giving my vehicle to a staff members to go home with without my consent? I have a Tracker fleet management system so I KNOW the status of my vehicle?
Then the stories started, then this then that, then the parts supplied was faulty from the supplier (check the other HelloPeter complains, on them) old storie he tells, then the car developed a secondary problem and the list just goes on!! Amazing to think that a service provider can take your money and just walk away? Stuff me the that trusted him with his little stories, who was paid and to date have not fixed my car yet? Will i do business with him again NO!
