I stoped this afternoon at the BP Oasis N1 North to get smokes and a chocolate. Now let me first say that most people only use card these days, not cash. But I gut my chocolate and went to the counter to get the smokes. The cashier said that they didn't have the smokes I required I said I will only take the chocolate and proceed opening my wallet. To that I was told that the do not accept card for items less than R10. I asked where do they state this information. And she couldn't show me. Now my question is shouldn't you inform the customer about this information. Even if its a sign behind the till. For living these days in a cash free would this information should be shown somewhere.
