On 31Oct'13 I called Phillip van Putten at Autobahn BMW and confirmed that I will purchase a car advertised in the Autotrader. He confirmed that the car is available and sent me the offer to purchase and pic's of the car. Phillip insisted that I see the car and was prepared to send his driver to come and show me but I said to him that I am buying the car anyway based on the specifications. He also confirmed to me that the road worthy and quality check was done already so the sale should go through quite quickly and I could have the car by the next afternoon. I had Wesbank finance approval and my documentation sent to him the same day and I expected the deal to be finalised on the next day. On 1st Nov 2013 at 4pm having had only excuses as to why he cant get the finance sorted, we postponed collection of the car either to Saturday or Monday. On Monday Phillip sent me a mail to request a formal application for finance. I was told that his driver would collect me for handover. Dalene called me to confirm the finance approval from BMW 5Nov'13. At about 4pm on 5 Nov the bank told me that the delay was because BMW sold my car to someone else.
