Europcar delayed response & employees incompetence

On the 28th of August i rented a car from Europcar Klerkdorp Branch, the car was not ready as per request and was dirty and the lady responsible Rozanne told us that that was the only available car at the time which we then agreed to use. hower the car was booked to be returned to at the Centurion branch as per arrangement and upon collection the car was not checked in on the same day and the gentlemen that assisted us at the Centurion branch noticed a paint crack on the vehicle which he clearly stated looked like an existing paint crack and the same gentleman made us fill in a form that he claimed would waiver the liability should there be a need to do so. the vehicle was checked in approximately 2-3weeks after it was initially dropped off. Lady at the Eurocar Centurion branch was too busy to notice that we had left the vehicle with her colleague. on the 4th of November at approximately 11h00 i received an sms from Europcar saying that the damage on the vehicle amounts to R 4470.00 (which is more than the R3300.00 excess which is stated in their contract) and a reference number along with FNB bank details and notice that stipulates that we have 15 days to respond, we wont pay it
