2012 Polo Vivo GT owner;
I sent the below to VWSA & was denied my claim, no wonder the stores handle you accordingly. I have requested he contact me & tell me why exactly my claim was denied. I'm still waiting & this two weeks later. I have taken it upon myself to repair but I want compensation or I will not rest, I also requested all my rims be checked yet no reply. What kind of people are we dealing with here?
Three weeks ago I had the most uncommon blowout on my left front wheel, it was raining & I had my rotation, balancing & alignment done around two weeks before, no issues were captured. I approached Barons again as the tyre was NOT damaged but my mag wheel cracked!!! I called again two days later after delivering the wheel to them myself & they stated they have a replacement & they just need to complete relevant documents, this led to waiting another TWO weeks & after numerous calls they then said it must be sent away to be checked by VWSA to authorize a claim... I said they may, I then followed up again & upon calling they said my claim was denied as I had a tyre mark on the rim & obviously implying I'm lying about the event which led to a blowout!
