Hello, I have a 2012 Polo Vivo with 16 000km on the clock, the rear right hand side wheel started shuddering and sounded like there was a wheel bearing problem, so I took my car to my local VW in Midrand only to be told that it HAS to be my tyre and that they have experienced this problem for 10 years, me being a car enthusiast knew that it was not tyre related so I took my car to VW in Fourways, within 1 day they had replaced my wheel bearings after ACTUALLY driving my car and admitting to a fault, they said my wheel bearings were badly worn and that I was lucky I came in when I did otherwise it would have caused more damage, I am absolutely horrified that VW in Midrand didn't even offer to drive my car and to instantly tell me it was my tyre and that I should replace it at my own cost, thanks for nothing VW Midrand!
