My fiance had an accident with her vehicle in May this year. 10 weeks later the vehicle was finally repaired and ready for collection. We went to collect the vehicle, where, after paying the required excess we were taken to the vehicle to do a inspection prior to taking the vehicle. The workmanship that was carried out on the vehicle was of exceptional standard. We were informed by the workshop manager that the air-conditioner had been re-gased only to discover later that this had not been done. Furthermore, on the way home, my fiance ran out of petrol, even though the fuel gauge indicated that the tank was half. After filling up with fuel, we discovered that the fuel gauge no longer functioned at all. As time went by, more and more faults were picked up. The cost of repairs to this once brand new vehicle was in excess of R 70000.00. Not to mention the inconvenience experienced by the poor service delivery.
