I had my car serviced on 26/09/13 where I had advised the mechanics of a noise they need to check while servicing my car, but to be told when I collected my vehicle they heard no noise. Last Saturday, 12/10/13, I take my car back to be checked, the mechanics hear the noise, and tell me to bring it back, and there will be no damage done while I drive my vehicle. Today, 18/10/13, 3rd time, my car arrives at Auto Mate on a Flat Bed, as the Water Pump and Timing Belt broke/snapped. We take this up with the Mechanics and Manager to be told well it's not part of the service, WHAT? Do they not listen to the Customer when there's mention of a noise the 1st time the vehicle was bought in? Do you people wait for something serioius to happen before you really assist? Was my car really serviced, which cost me R3 300.00, and now an additional R1 500.00 to be towed to Auto Mate this morning, and now ANOTHER R1 400.00 for the water pump and timing belt - total R6 200.00 for a service on a Peugeot 107 - this is ridiculous. If you people knew what you were doing I would not have had to come back 3 times. I will NOT/NEVER go back to one of your branches again. You people trade in day light!!
