A Person bumped me from behind in my ML Merc and then we found out that it was an Avis rental. I put in a Third Party Claim against Avis. I got 3 quotes (at their request) and then they cut the lowest quote by 50%! After fighting with them I decided it is not worth fighting over. When the claim settlement letter came they didn't want to pay the VAT. After threatening them with the Ombudsman and also to Short term Insurance Act Lee Stone (after about 3 months) decided to pay the funds plus VAT. I signed forms and waited for another month, just for the to let me know that some of the forms were signed incorrectly. I am not sure how long we will have to wait now for them to come back with another excuse or delay. Based on this service I will think THREE times before EVER renting a vehicle from them. If this is the way they handle and outsider I do not want to have anything to do with this Company
