I stopped by Caltex today to fill my tank with petrol and so glad I did as it brought a smile to my face and a fantastic end to the work day. I usually fill my car with petrol at the BP up the road but decided to try out Caltex for a change. Elliot and Alfred greeted me with a smile and asked how could they help me, after which I said "please could you fill up unleaded". Without me asking them they checked my oil, water and offered to check my tyres, in addition they cleaned every window on my car and did so with a smile. Most attendants just ask me what I want and then do it while shouting to their friends across the way but not Alfred and Elliot. Their Great attitude and SUPERB service gained them a ten Rand tip from me and a big smile. I told them that they are the reason that the South African economy is able to function. In future I will be using Caltex Stellenbosch as my preferred petrol station and recommending it to my friends and family.
