I bought paintech insurnace cover when i purchased a car.
i paid R3959 for it in cash for a 2 year cover.
i phoned to claim, but what a process, unbeliveble.
anyway decided to change product to another company which comes to you for paint repairs, so cancelled policy after 6 months.
i only got R1454 back (they say 380 is commision, R1900 is paint insurance, R1679 is warranty paint insurance).remember i paid upfront.
no where in policy does it specify how much relates to what, it just says warranty portion is non refunderble.
but what would have happened if i took this policy on a monthly basis, then i would have not been paying for something i dont have.
be carefull their customers blindfolded.
any way phoned legal wise, hope my lawyers legal wise rectify this injustice.
