I bought pre-owned Audi A3 from Barons in March this year and 2/3 months after driving it, I started experiencing problems. Initially it was the CV joints and then the wheel bearings, fortunately I had taken an extended warranty with Motorite however they refused to fix the CV joints cause the CV boots were worn out (I found them like that) but they agreed to replace the wheel bearings. This was around mid-June. In July, I picked a problem with the inner joints and I didn't take the car in as I didn't have time yet to take it in. August there was a problem with Engine Control Unit, then I immediately took the car to Audi Centre in Rivonia and upon inspection, they concluded that the control unit was tempered with.
I took this to Barons and they had a meeting with Motorite, who eventually agreed to replace it. Barons requested that I bring the car to them, in Bruma of which I did and they took the car to Audi Centre in Bruma, across the road. 7 weeks later, the control unit has arrived and installed but now the Audi technician has picked up other problems with the car. He mentioned the gasket on the manifold, something about the gearbox and the engine. Barons refuses.
