I have been dealing with Gert for at least 10 years and always found him to be trustworthy. I bought my wife a second hand Renault Clio and the obvious choice was to take it to Gert at GV Services in Boundary rd Brakpan. The initial quote was R1499.00 and about R300 for roadworthy. Then the total came to nearly R3, 000!!! He had to do the back wheel bearings and that increased the price. The car went back a couple of times and Gert started getting arrogant and said he can look at the car when he has time but yet demanded to be paid in full before releasing the car. The wheels in the back are still making a heck of a noise and he brings up all kinds of excuses from wheels that are buckled, exhaust that leaks to faulty battery. I have replaced the entire exhaust system, placed in a new battery and still the noise is there!! How did he do the roadworthy then??? I am still having issues with noise at the back wheels and this is R3000, 00 later!!!
