BMW South Africa
Awaiting parts TWO MONTHS after minor accident

I was involved in a relatively minor motor vehicle accident on 31/072013 when someone drove into the back of my white 120 BMW Diesel Coupe. Damage was sustained to the boot and right side panel. Due to delays caused by Outsurance, my vehicle was only towed in for repairs a week later to Fountains Club Motors. On the 26th of August, I phoned Club Motors to enquire about the progress, since I had not received any feedback. I spoke to a very rude Mr Dhireen. It came to light that no work had been done on my car yet, since the initial assessment of the damage (by Danny Hackett from Outsurance) was incorrect and parts would have to be ordered from Germany. He told me that this would take 21 workdays and that the actual work would then take another 15 work days. This would result in me having my car back somewhere around mid-October. I was informed yesterday by Outsurance that BMW is still awaiting parts for my car. I am a medical professional who need my car and has since been forced to borrow one! (Since Outsurance was only prepared to provide me with a sub-standard rental car for 1 month). Should BMW even be in South Africa if they can not fix a white boot and a panel in TWO MONTHS???!
