An email was received from the seller informing us that the order was shipped on 11 September with promise of delivery within 2-4 business days for a cost of $38 via DHL. Registered post would have been $5.
DHL'S own tracking website shows the parcel was picked up by DHL from its destination on Wednesday 11 September. It travelled through 3 countries before arriving in Cape Town on 12 September, its final destination.
The parcel is now, 14 days later still at DHL in Cape Town and we the customer are awaiting an invoice from DHL for duties and our goods that we paid $38 for safe secure speedy delivery.
We have been calling DHL everyday sometimes more than once since the 20th with people continuously telling us they will sort it out and/or escalate the problem. To date nothing has been resolved.
