I was at Caltex service station bought R200 worth of 93 unleaded petrol, after making an eft payment I received an sms confirming that payment was received. The Eft machine declined the payment. The attended brought another machine and he said they payment will reversed later this afternoon I should make another payment, in which I did the total payment was now R400. The attended said if the payment does not reserve I should provide my bank statement conforming that payment did go through and I would be refunded. Ive just been to the service station with my bank statement and the Manager (Mbuso Ndhlovu) refused to refund and said I should speak to my bank. My travelling expenses from my house to the bank should not be covered by me as this was not an error on my side and I was the banks fault. Caltex garage has faulty equipment and I as the customer have to foot the bill. I have to be compensate for time and petrol I've used to go to the bank, if not I will reverse both payments.
