Very bad experience

The whole Europcar experience has been terrible. When I booked the car, the agent said I can extend the rental if I wanted to and that I will still benefit from the weekend rate. When I called in to extend, I had to fight them on the issue. They also expected me to pay a R7k deposit (never did that before at any rental company?!?!), which they said will be refunded when I return the car. It is now a day late and when I inquired about it, they said it will take another day or so. The only reason I tried them was because Investec Private Banking clients get better deals - however, it is simply not worth it and if Investec knows how this damages their reputation, they will look for another partner... and then there is the duty manager at the Cape Town branch...

The Europcar car rental experience has been terrible from the start to the end. Never again.
