8th September 2013.
Somehow my booking was made for collection at 8pm with my flight only arriving at 11:45pm at Lanseria airport.
Not sure how these bookings were confused because the same person booking the flight also booked the car. Anyhow.
Got to the Avis desk at 11:45pm and the doors were closed.
Called the helpline number and to my surprise the Avis staff member was summonsed to get out of bed on a Sunday night to drive 35 km from Centurion and open shop to issue me a car.
That is truly impeccable service.
