My Audi A4 (with only 134000 km's) broke down over a month ago. The car was towed to Audi East Rand who said they would give me a quote within a week. After 2 weeks no communication was received about my car, only when I went into the branch did they actually start looking. They quoted an amount of R55K to repair the car, and have to date been unable to tell me why this happened at such a low mileage. After numerous email's and phone call's - the amount was eventually reduced to approx. R21K - this quote I accepted. Two weeks ago I was advised that the parts were going to take another 2 weeks, but after waiting so long - I accepted the extra delay. TODAY I received a very short email from Janine Schoeman, just to let me know that the car could not be repaired. Not explanation - no telephone call - nothing. I was just expected to accept that I no longer have a vehicle that I bought new 5 years ago!
This fiasco has been going no now for over a month. I work on site during the week so have obviously had to borrow a vehicle while waiting for Audi.
