I unfortunately had an accident with my car and was referred by my Insurance company to Eljoney Panelbeaters.
Firstly - the morning when I booked my car in for repairs, did I have to wait 45 minutes to be assisted, and the same happened when I collected my car from them. They never did a check with me off my car, except showing me the repair work on the outside of my car, when they do however check the entire car when you leave it with them?
When I came home, I realised that my cluster was damaged with a crack right through (this was on a Friday, thus could I only contact them the Monday).
After which they told my that my Insurance will have to be liable, but, they will contact the Insurance Company and let me know of the proceedings - which never happened!! I had to follow up with the Insurance and was told that they had never contacted them in this regard.
To conclude - they claim that they are not responsible for the R 5100.00 worth of damage and that I must use either my Insurance or use the guarantee on my car to repair the damage that THEY had done?
I would strongly suggest anyone against using these panelbeaters as they have very bad service and is dishonest and unethical!
