Car returned with a broken windscreen from repairs

In 2012 July I had an accident my insurance (King Price) sent my car to a panel beater for repairs, but when collecting the car there was a crack in the windscreen and the workshop said King Price never authorised them to attend to it. I communicated with KP (King Price) several times and they kept promising to replace it, Mr William (from KP) even gave me contact number for Glassfit to make an appointment with them. I phoned Glassfit and there was no authority to replace the windscreen. I wasted lot and lot of airtime regarding this issue, because KP was promising to call me and that never happened. I was the one to call them.

The car was sent to workshop A for repairs and that w/kshop closed down and it was sent to w/kshop B)

After so many months Mr William told me to lodge new claim and pay extra access fee, because the workshop refused to pay for the damage (KP was trying to claim from the workshop, cause according to KP there wasn't any crack)

the car is mine but the insurance was being paid by someone else when this accident happened. I took over paying for the insurance until I was fed up and cancelled the insurance. But when the this happened the car was insured by KP.
