Shift the way you DON'T move

My girlfriend was experiencing problems with her car where it either wouldnt start or it would just cut out in the middle of journey. The vehicle was taken to IC Nissan Roodepoort where they quoted on work that would cost R13000 to perform. Not being satisfied with this quote (too expensive) I had the vehicle to moved to a different repairer. Their investigation revealed that the work quoted on was not even required and that the problem was something entirely different. I am disgusted that Nissan would quote on work that isn't required. Surely Nissan are experts in diagnosing problems on their own brand of vehicle? Clearly not!
Having completed repairs at the other repairer, they now have to re-code the key. Neither the call centre nor any other dealership are prepared to assist us with giving us the code without having the vehicle. How are we meant to get the car to any dealership when it won't start? Why should we be forced to have it done at a Nisaan dealership and pay their ridiculous prices?
