My account being debited but loan was cancelled

I applied for car finance with MYAA motors late last year. They called me to say I could come sign the paperwork as a portion of the loan has been approved by a bank (I wont mention the name), and the rest they would try to get from another bank. On 08 Dec I went in to sign the paperwork. Then a week later they told me they were unable to get the loan approved by the 2nd bank so I decided to cancel. I signed a cancellation form - so no money was transferred into my acc. Now I am getting calls from the 1st bank saying they are going to debit R1800 from my account for the money that was paid to MYAA motors. I am not paying for money that was never ever paid into my acc, MYAA ignores my calls! This is the worst service ever and I will warn others against using MYAA!
