I had bought a gift in the UK for my mom's 78th birthday. It was couriered by DHL. As my husband was away during the delivery time, we tried to move the delivery to my office. It just went pearshaped. Needless to say I wrote to the MD explaining, rather explosively, what the issues were and asked him to sort them out. He called me personally and found my parcel, had it delivered and to my absolute delight and surprise, he followed it up with a gift of a gift bag full of Lindt Chocolates for my mother. Now that's what I call service. Thanks Hennie you definitely retained a customer.
