Just a warning to everyone. I went to get my car serviced, and asked them to fix the aircon at the same time, as I believed it to be covered under the three year warranty.
I found out that SA Warranties, the underwriter for the Geely SA warranties, had cancelled my warranty because I did not have my car serviced at 1500 KM's... yes, 1500 km's.
But... nowhere in my service manual, or indeed the warrantee, does it state I am required to send my car in for a service at 1500 km's. My service plan states the first two scheduled services are the PDS, and the second is the 15000 km services. I have read the service manual from cover to cover, and it DOES NOT MENTION ANYWHERE that a service is required at 1500 km's.
How can they cancel a warrantee based on a requirement that is not indicated to the buyer, or even stated within their own service and warrantee manual?
This is the last time I buy a Geely, and I advise you all steer clear from them, at least until they better their reputation.
