I sent my Hyundai Getz in for a major service at the 180 000km mark. Having been there before and received great service, I trusted that all was in order.
At 187 000kms, my car began spluttering. Thinking it was just the injectors or something I sent the car to a close mechanic. The cause of my car splutter? The major service hadn't been done. My air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, plug cables etc hadn't been changed!! I was upset and called the service centre. The manager was absolutely rude and suggested it was all my fault. I was just informing him that someone at his centre hadn't done his job properly. Just a word of caution. Mark all your filters and insist on seeing the replaced materials.
