I am in the market to purchase a new vehicle, my first option was the Renault Clio 3, that is advertised in the media. I sent a test drive request on line. Floyd from the Alberton Branch contacted me on Wednesday, we made an appointment for Friday at 3:45pm. I arrived at the dealership for the appointment, but was told by Floyd that the car was not available as the Accountant was using it. I find this to be extremely bad service and first impression of Renault. Floyd had my contact details and email address, where he could have notified me and thus could have cancelled. I had arranged to take time off work and this was all in vain. With this service impression set, I walked over the road and was pleasantly assisted in the Ford dealership(without having to make any appointment's, etc).
So without even test driving the Clio, I am already put off the vehicle. Also Everyone at work knew I was going for the test drive, so all were eager to find out. They were all astounded to hear the service I had received, so this will be word of mouth bad advertising on behalf of Renault..
Also to date I have not received a follow up call from the dealership.
