RAW DEAL - NISSAN MICRA

We viewed a Nissan Micra on 17/8/2013 and was informed by Salesman, Dawid that the car do have service record and that the next service is due in 10 000kms. He also confirmed that the remaining motor plan is up to 60 000 kms. Being a reputable Motor Dealer - Imperial Nissan Menlyn, I took his word and the negotiations started. I was sent a OTP and requested to pay a holding deposit which I did R40k. Informed that we can fetch the car at 11h00 on Saturday morning, 24 August 2013. On arrival the next day, we went through the car just to realise a few outstanding items which we immediately addressed with Dawid. It appears that the vehicle is not serviced up to date as confirmed and promised by Dawid, the air filter is very dirty and the oil has not been changed for some time, the service book is not stamped, one of the loose mats are suddenly missing in action after the valet, etc. We do not get feedback and constantly have to contact Dawid for feedback to only get one liners with nothing worth to rely or work on.
