This complaint is long overdue as I have had to struggle with a badly serviced car for a couple of weeks now.
I booked my Yaris T3 for a service in mid June 2013, this was for a "normal service".
Danny Khumalo is the workshop manager responsible for handling all bookings at the Rivonia branch.
The car was subsequently serviced and the bill came up to R4000, which my partner paid with some reservations. The crux of the matter is that upon taking delivery of my car in the afternoon on that day, I was flagged down by a gentleman on a traffic light saying my brakes were diffusing smoke. In a panic I called Danny from Car Service City in Rivonia, this was around 17:00pm. I took my car back and forth to these guys 6 times in a space of 3weeks and walked away with the same issues. I feel as though the Car Service City in Rivonia Sandton took me for a ride given the fact that I'm a black woman. They cost me untold pain, being subjected to driving a mechanically faulty car as a paying customer is totally unacceptable. I will never take my car to any Car Service City branch. I also vow to be an "ambassador of bad word of mouth marketing" discouraging everyone who cares to listen.
