This the complaint I have submitted to Europcar:
Dear Athene.
As mentioned to you telephonically, I am refusing to pay for the damage to the car for the following reasons:
o I rented the car the on 19 July 2013 and returned it on 22 July 2013 without any damage at all;
o The invoice you submitted to me clearly shows that there were no damages to the car after you inspected it;
o I have no idea how many other people have driven the car between July 22 and now;
o I feel like I am being made to pay for damages caused by another person; and
o After almost a month has passed you calling/emailing me today informing me about a damage underneath the car that you have discovered. Why did you wait so long to discover the damage?
I tried to call your Manager Yolanda but I was told that she was visiting her doctor.
