16 DAYS and still no refund!

I hired a car on the 2nd of August and paid with my debit card. They immediately debited this amount from my account and I was advised it would take 48 hours after delivery of the vehicle for my credit less the usage for the money to be refunded.

I delivered the car on the evening of Sunday the 4th of August.

on Thursday, 4 DAYS later I called, they firstly advised me that it is in fact 48 BANKING hours I had to wait and seeing as though banks only operate 6 hours a day and tomorrow (Friday) will be a public holiday I will have to wait until Monday.

I said sure no problem.

I have made atLEAST 6 calls to these people, and I still do not have my deposit back.
NOONE bothers to call me back, the one woman called to confirm my banking details last Thursday the 15th, which I gave her but ALAS still no deposit.

if there is a problem fine, but nobody bothered to call and it is now 16 days later and I still don't have my money!
