FUEL DEPOSIT

I rented a vehicle in February 2013 for which; I paid a fuel deposit. I was told it would be refunded into my account within 5 days. IT WASN'T. I went into the branch to enquire, they told me it had been done and that I should check my bank statements - I did. There was nothing. I let them know, to which they responded: "We will have to do an internal investigation as it seems there may be in the company". I then received an sms stating that there is an outstanding fine which I need to settle WHAT A CHEECK! I once again called the branch, the financial manager then told me she will look into it - well... that was three weeks ago... clearly she is still looking. Judging by the numerous complaints of the same nature, I think Europcar has some serious INTERNAL ISSUES. Fuel deposits being spent on what & by WHO? Shocking to say the least, SHOCKING. I will never, ever in my life... rent or recommend EUROPCAR to anyone. How shameless?
