During April 2013 I was involved in an accident with my Mercedes Benz, the incident was reported to Outsurance and the claim was approved. We were told by Outsurance to that Danmar Outobody in Longmeadow, Modderfontein was instructed to repair the vehicle. I have tried on several occasions to make contact with them to try and establish when I can bring the car for repairs. They never bother to contact me. I then went to see them and they said I can bring the car on the 24th of June 2013 for the repair. On the 15th of July 2013 I received a SMS informing me that the vehicle is in paint prep. I then contact them on the 26th of July and they said the vehicle is ready for collection. On my arrival I found a couple of things that was not repaired to my satisfaction. They promised that the vehicle should be ready the next day. On Tuesday 30 July I contact them and was informed that the vehicle is in the wash bay. At about 16H30 I got the vehicle back from the wash bay and drove off. This kind of service is not acceptable and I would recommend that Mercedes Benz get rid of Danmar Autobdy as a preferred panel beater. It took six weeks to repair my car never got satisfactory service.
