In February this year I experienced a clutch failure on a new NP300 bakkie at 22, 000KM, the vehicle was off the road for 5 weeks while Nissan SA were dragging their feet with a warranty claim, which they eventually approved and we got the bakkie back. Nissan SA then refuted the claim and I again lodged a complaint with them. 5 1/2 months after the failure they again refuted the claim, claiming it was driver abuse. Throughout this ordeal Winnesia and Thys were extremely supportive and did not pressure me in any way. While Nissan SA completely washed their hands of the matter, Bruma Nissan, came to the party and substantially reduced the original bill to a much more confrontable level. I wish to highly commend Thys, Winnesia and the entire dealership for their support and service backup.
