I went to the engen garage in Roodepoort opposite SPAR on Saturday, July 27 at about 13h30 to buy pies for my son and his 3 cousins, I asked for 4 pies on special and I was told the pies were not yet in the oven and I would have to wait 20 minutes. I could not wait that long so I decided to go to the one on Corlet drive. They only had two pies left so I took those but when I got to the till I notices that I was charged R24 for the pies that were supposed to be R20. I was in a hurry so I paid for them and left.
On Monday morning at 06h10 on my way to work, I decided to go back to the engen opposite SPAR and they did not have on display the pie that was on special for the week and when I asked I was told the barcode or something was not yet on the system and I would have to buy the pies on the regular price.
I asked the store assistant why the specials were not yet loaded and he told me he does not know and that he just works there.
