I booked my car in for service and took in. I did not receive a call informing me about the status of my car (whether the service has been completed and if I may or may not come collect it).
i went in the aftyernoon anyways because a 30000km service shouldn't take more than a day.
Upon arriving and after paying over R2000, I went to collect my car. To my horror my car looked disgusting. It looked discoloured, like it had been painted over, dirty and oily.
I told Vernon that I refuse to take a car like that and he became defensive and said it was from a previous paint job and theres nothing he can do about it coz my car was very dity when I brought it in so it may have been like that. I told him I will not accept service and he should call the manager. The manager took his time and 15 minutes later, without greeting, he says the washbay will wipe it off in 5 mins. I was then told that I should leave my car AGAIN and it will be washed and polished. Clearly indicating that a half job was done on it.
Vernon said they were busy. I DON'T CARE. I'm a paying customer.
I am disgusted by the rude and service I received. Never again will I set foot at VW Hatfield Pretoria!!
