In June 2013 I took my Nissan Primastar to NIssan Parow for repairs. I use this vehicle for my tour operation company. I took this vehicle in the Monday and by that Wednesday, they still did not find the fault. I sent a complaint to Nissan SA and they then elevated it and only then did they work on my vehicle. They found the fault the Friday and had to order the parts. The Monday they phoned me to say that this part is not available in South Africa and that I have to wait for 4 weeks for the part to arrive. I had previous bookings and was shocked to hear that this part will not be available. I am a very small business and had to hire a vehicle and in the process lost R5500. When I requested from both Nissan SA and the Branch Manager for a discount, they refused. I then asked if I could pay half and pay the other half over 3 months again I was emphatically refused. The part arrived on the 16 July and I thought that I would receive the vehicle by the end of that week, only to be told the Friday that they found other faults and it would cost me another R4000. The vehicle was there for a month and they only found other faults later. This has been crippling and sad
