Ford
Authorization for vehicle repairs

I own a ford 3.2 diesel 4x4 automatic Bakkie which I purchased in Feb 2012.

On the 21/03/2013 we went down to Richardsbay towing my boat. The Bakkie developed a knock in the engine at the back (no 5 cylinder).on Friday the 22/03/2013 I took the vehicle to Ritchie Auto in Richards bay. They diagnosed the problem and a new engine was ordered which arrived in Richards bay on Tuesday the 26/03/2013 and was installed and ready by Thursday the 28/03/2013.

On Tuesday the 9/7/2013 I was getting ready to go to Kimberley when a hose burst causing the coolant to run out and the Bakkie went into limb mode. I stopped immediately but the damage was done. The Bakkie was taken to Eastvaalmotors in Secunda on the 10/7/2013 were it still is. From the 10/7/2013 till today (19/7/2013) the dealer in Secunda is trying to get authorization for the repairs to be done. The vehicle's engine must be replaced again after only 17000 km and, although under guarantee and the fact that the dealer has provided all the details, I am still waiting.

I have send emails to ford customer care (Marielle Eksteen) and although she helped me in the past, she have not returned a single mail now.

I am without transport
