A year ago, my mom bought a motor-home from Durban Caravans, they were all smiles & friendliness until payment was made. She collected the vehicle & left to discover there was no diesel in it (Gavin insisted there was) pathetic. Using it for the first time, the microwave didn't work, the only plug point was dead, a gas bottle was missing, ac was broken & the spare tyre was a joke. This was only half sorted out. While camping down the south coast, the hydraulic arm on the "brand new" awning broke. She had to leave the van there for A WHOLE MONTH BEFORE THEY CAME TO FIX IT! When they went to the berg and the leg sheared off on the awning, DC would not assist at all even after promising to call back. After several calls and several broken promises to call back my mom has given up! Happy boys? you thieving rats! On Monday she will have the awning removed and returned to DC... have they offered her a part refund, compensation for the drama? NO!
I promise, I will tell EVERYONE I know, exactly the type of AWFUL SERVICE can be expected from DURBAN CARAVANS PINE TOWN. This is how you treat pensioners - I'm disgusted!
