My son's Corolla went in to the as it would intermittently not start. The vehicle is still under the manufacturer's warrantee. When I delivered the vehicle I described the problem and suggested to Susan that the suspect was the earth cable of the battery. A few hours later we were phoned to collect the car. Susan explained that there was nothing wrong with the car but that the battery had a dead cell and was at the end of it's life. This turned out to be untrue. We had the battery tested elsewhere, at two places. I am dissapointed at Mc Carthy Lynnwoods apathy towards the problem. Another Toyota dealer had to step in and it turned out that the problem was indeed a faulty battery cable and not the battery. This after my son got stuck next to the road 200km from home and we had to have the vehicle recovered and transported to the nearest Toyota dealer.
